Pulling up to Damion's home studio, we were greeted by his unforgettable son, Zuri, in a mini police car. This set the tone for the rest of the visit and had us recalling Damion's blog's "About" section stating, "Family, Friends, Art and Design..." He acted as family man and pro artist as he showed us around his studio and his impressive home collection of art, much of which comes from friends he's made along his journey to becoming a respected artist and designer for Converse. In this first installment, we will feature his studio and work, which has evolved into the production, breakdown and reconstruction of many of his pieces mixed with other artists' work, as well as comics, labels and other graphically striking imagery.
