What do you get when 4 friends who also happen to be artists take a road trip to an art opening? Well, you're about to find out. And if you guessed mayhem, then you'd be close to being right. The pictures below are from a trip that EVOKER took with a rag-tag group of his artists friends to attend Angry Woebots opening at the Art Whino gallery. EVOKER, Luke Chueh, Mat Curran and J*RYU all piled in a rental car and found their way (after many stops at BBQ joints) from North Carolina to the DC area to partake in the opening night festivities. Jess (aka Team Sweet) was able to meet up with a few of the artists in the art collective Project SF and amongst those talented guys was EVOKER who let her into his studio to have a look around. EVOKER's bold lines and awesomely charismatic characters can be seen on t-shirts, paintings, skate decks and stickers the world over. Check out his studio, adorned with his artwork, handfuls of spray paint caps and a great art collection he's picked up along his travels.
